SUITE 1D in Loosen Up Muscle Therapy

My first study of massage therapy was during a semester of Athletic Training while pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Health Education & Physical Education at Lock Haven University.  After graduation I served as an Aquatic Professional for a span of 14 wonderful years teaching, coaching and managing, at Upper Main Line YMCABrandywine YMCA and the Melmark School for special populations.

Seeking a career change, I completed formal massage therapy training at Pennsylvania School of Muscle Therapy, then, joined the faculty to teach  'Introduction to Pathology for Massage Therapists' for several years.  Also, began my 20 year career as Senior Massage Therapist & Department Manager at the Main Line's award-winning Antoinette Day Spa   before launching my own business.

Education is important to me.  I have focused my continuing education in oncology massage and geriatric massage and hold the highest voluntary credential available in the profession.  I have been Nationally Certified since it's inception in 1992, and Board Certified since it's inception, 2016.  At this stage in my career I want to bring my education and experience to serve those who's needs are great.  I am proud to be an approved provider of oncology massage for Unite for HER.

Let me educate you to understand the nature of your current aches and pains, explain how injuries, old and new, how habits of daily living, may be playing out as discomfort.  I'll help you understand why massage helps and what you can do to help yourself.  Coach you on proper body mechanics, the use of heat, ice,  aromatherapy, hydrotherapy and more.  Team work.   Experience what expertise can do for you.  Contact me today.
